More Bush Walking and Sea Swimming

We are still in Newcastle and we went to the same beach, along the route that we started walking along the other day.

Here are two trees either burnt by a bush fire or burnt on purpose in an attempt to stop bush fires. I really like how black black they are so I stood between them

We arrived at a lookout where there used to be an aborigine tribe, they had access to the river and the sea so there was loads to eat.

Then we walked down the steepest stairs ever, the woods really reminded me of England, it was bizarre.

After 45 minutes we arrived at the beach

and saw a little lily lizard!

Here's the end of the river again

We didn't swim because weasel's arm is still very weak and it was very rough!

Dave and Nath left for Europe on the 12th and we had a couple of days in with Kobe so he didn't feel too lonely:

I made the best meat balls!!

I just read this through, the meat balls were made out of beef and were nothing to do with Kobe!!!

On Saturday we went out to the beach again, and this time we went a different route:

We saw these:

This route was a lot more confusing but we still made it

Aren't we cute
