This evening we met our new best friends Dave, Nath and their gorgeous Japanese Spitz Kobe:
Dave and Nath pulled out all the stops for us and made us the most amazing three course dinner:
Somehow they knew my favourite starter: cheese and fruit. The cheeses were a boursin and a Tasmanian camembert.
The camembert in particular was exquisite
For the main Dave cooked us lamb with vegetables, it tastes even better than it looks!
For desert Nath made us cupcakes which were divine and the ice cream he served them with was the best ice cream I've ever had (no exaggeration):
The fig gave it a really sour taste that worked really well.
It was definitely the best meal we've had all year! Okay it's only the 14th day of the year, but it was definitely among the top five meals we've had in Australia!
