SYDNEY

Today we were very excited to go to Sydney!!

We got the train in from Berowra and it actually took us across Harbour Bridge, so our first view of the Opera House was from the train - it looked smaller than we expected!

We got off at Wynyard Station and walked to Central Quay. We passed this church:

this is the Museum of Contemporary Art:

Opposite it we took these photos:

Then a lady kindly asked if we wanted a picture of both of us:
She was British

We walked around the Quay and got some photos of the Harbour Bridge - you could see people walking along the top of it!

We were shocked with how little people there were at the Opera House, but pleased

I really like these photos but I wish the whole of the Opera House was in it

Then a nice German guy took a photo for us

We went inside which just looked like a regular concert place then we went downstairs and out to the restaurants and bars

We decided as we weren't going to see an opera or go on a tour we should have lunch at the Opera House:

We had a salmon panini it was yummy.

Then we went into the museum:

this one was my favourite, it changed from left to right, one was the wolf man and the other was Dorian Grey

Next we went to the rocks

Then we continued around the Quay

I thought I saw another sting ray but it was just a plastic bag

There were a couple getting married

This is the Harbour Bridge

All in all it was one of the top five days we've had in Australia :D
