Trip from Newcastle to Berowra

We had a great morning with Nath trying out different types of tea :) I had amaretto tea it was delicious.

Dave kindly took us to the train station. They have been ridiculously kind and generous to us we didn't want to leave them and Kobe, but we were still excited about Sydney!!

This is Newcastle station:

On the way down we went through Cardiff!

Like Australian Gloucester it looked a lot nicer than the UK version:

The train journey was only two hours long but we saw loads of awesome scenery:

I often forget how beautiful Australia is.

We are staying with Godmother Polly's friends Kate and J.C. Kate picked us up from the train station and took us to their lovely home. They have three great children aged 4 - 10, they are really polite and fun. We played Just Dance with them which was super fun.

Kate's parents are British but moved to Australia when she was eight (ish), J.C. is half Chilean and half Japanese! So the children are British, Australian, Chilean and Japanese - how cool is that?

We went on a beautiful walk next to their house:

It was really breathtaking. We then had a lovely BBQ meal. We were reluctant to leave Newcastle but are pleased we didn't miss out on Berowra and we're so excited to see Sydney finally!
