I don't think I'll ever get over this view!
We walked to the bus stop and got a better picture of the koala sign:
We did a stupid thing with the bus where we read the time table wrong and ended up waiting for aggeesss and then it charged us double because it was Saturday.. but we finally made it to the botanic gardens:

and these water lilies were massive.
This avenue was the highlight of the gardens, it was like being in a rain forest:
To make up for the money we'd lost on the bus we decided to save money and walk back. It took two hours but I saved this parrot from being run over!
All in all the botanic gardens in Adelaide are no where near as good as the Melbourne ones, they aren't as well organised and you can see these horrible skyscrapers, but it was still worth visiting for the massive trees.
